Bang-On Balls: Chronicles Squeezes a Little More Out of the Viking Age Map

The latest content update for Exit Plan Games' Early Access 3D platformer Bang-On Balls: Chronicles has added an additional area to the existing Viking Age map. Known as the "Roman Baths" update, it adds...well, Roman baths to the map. Specifically, it adds Roman baths to an area underneath the Viking Age map, only accessible by two balls working together.

In the new area, players will find new items, mechanics, challenges and even a new boss battle awaiting them. It's not the most significant update an Early Access game has received, but considering the game only launched last month, it's an impressive feat. Plus, the developer is actively working on all-new maps and even more content for the game.

Inspired by the 3D platforming greats, Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is an irreverent co-op 3D platformer which sees players controlling a customisable ball and completing objectives in a variety of open, historical-themed environments. Well, that's the plan at least. Currently there's only a Viking-themed map available, but Feudal Japan, space race-era Russia and the American Wild West have already been presented as potential settings for future updates.
