Bandai Namco Releases First DLC for SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream

The bubbly Strea is joining the world of SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream in the first DLC for the experience!

Released alongside the game, SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream's Character Pass Vol. 1 has finally received an update welcoming Strea to the experience on the 17th of October (14 days after the release of the DLC), meaning players can now pick her!

The DLC originally released to controversy due to the way the character selection screen had Strea in it despite being unavailable for a few weeks, though in a previous roadmap, Bandai Namco and Dimps Corporation had stated that she would release at a later date, specifying the 17th of October as her release window. Due to this misunderstanding, the SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream Character Pass Vol. 1is sitting at Mixed ratings with 49 reviews.

The trailer shows off Strea's gameplay, as Kirito has no previous recollection of her and she shares that she comes from another world, and wishes to become friends with this version of Kirito, too.
