Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear Announced
A couple of weeks ago, we reported that a strange timer had appeared on the official Baldur's Gate website. With a blurred out image being all we had to go on, we were left to speculate as to what the timer's conclusion would hold.
Well, the timer has now hit zero, revealing the existence of Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, a massive expansion to Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition.
Running on the Infinity Engine, Siege of Dragonspear takes place in between the first two games, and tells a new story in the Bhaalspawn Saga, after the death of Sarevok.
No release date has yet been given, but developer Beamdog have announced that the game will be coming first to PC, Mac and Linux, with Android and iOS versions coming later in the year.

I had to laugh. A huge build up and it's just an expansion?

Expansion or not, this is some of the best gaming news of the year for me. Most Beloved RPG of all time. Fact!

Thing is, I've read somewhere that the expansion apparently has enough content to be classed as a complete game. So why not just release it as such?
