Assassin's Creed Valhalla Gets an Actual Gameplay Trailer and Release Date
After the poorly received 'gameplay' trailer shown at the Xbox 20/20 showcase in May (which didn't have any gameplay at all), Ubisoft has finally released honest-to-god gameplay footage for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Nothing pre-rendered—this is the real deal. Plus, we've also been given a release date for the historical Viking adventure: 17th November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. The game will also be a launch title for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, although the consoles' respective release dates are yet to be confirmed.
From a more dynamic and involved combat system to stunning exploration, vicious hunting mechanics and massive fortress sieges, Assassin's Creed Valhalla looks to be a step up from everything Ubisoft achieved in Origins and Odyssey. Take a look at the gameplay overview trailer above to see for yourself.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla releases on 17th November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. It will also release on launch for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
