Assassin's Creed Unity Heist Co-Op Mission Demo with Commentary
Creative director Alex Amancio reveals a new type of co-op mission in this latest demo: heist missions.
Focused on stealth, heist missions ask players to team up and "liberate" artifacts from Templar hands. In this demo, the two assassins make their way through the heavily patrolled Hôtel-Dieu--Paris' oldest hospital--to seize artifacts Templar agents have been smuggling out of Notre Dame Cathedral a few blocks away.
Players use a selection of co-op skills (including an Elder Scrolls-looking lockpick ability) to make their way to the artifact and out of the Hotel without raising the alarm; the more players are detected, the smaller their rewards for completing the mission. Heists feature randomized guards, patrols patterns and artifact locations, which according to Amancio makes them heavily replayable.
Assassin's Creed Unity comes out October 28th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
