Apex Legends: Saviors Now Available + Battle Pass Trailer

The latest update for Respawn’s hero shooter, Apex Legends, has just been released, and with it comes a new hero, battle pass and map changes.

The new update, titled Apex Legends: Saviors, introduces Newcastle, the brother of current Apex Legends champion, Bangalore. A defensive champion with the ability to move his downed teammates whilst reviving them, Newcastle's Castle Wall ultimate deploys a protective shield wall that stuns and slows enemies, allowing him to protect his teammates in the line of fire.

There are also new changes to the Storm Point map. With the unearthing of IMC Armories around the map come new locations for you to loot, defended by robotic Spectres. Defeating their waves will grant you full access to the armory and all the high-tier loot inside, bound to shift the delta in your favour.

As well as a new Ranked tier that aims to increase accessibility for newer players, there also comes reworks to the Ranked system, where the points now promote more team-focused approaches to level up your Rank. The new Battle Pass comes with a healthy dose of cosmetic items, including Legendary skins for Fuse, Bloodhound and the C.A.R. SMG, as well as Epic Skins for new champion Newcastle, and for Pathfinder and Mad Maggie. Completing the Battle Pass will also reward you new Reactive skins for the Spitfire LMG.
