Apex Legends Gets Its Biggest Crossover Yet with FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

The release of FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is fast approaching, and Apex Legends is definitely feeling the hype. As of 9th January, Apex Legends and FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH will be teaming up for a Limited Time Mode Takeover, where players will find numerous FFVII-inspired cosmetic items and so much more.

Players will be delighted to learn they can wield their own Buster Sword R2R5, and you can check it out for yourself in the trailer! Using the Buster Sword R2R5, you'll be able to dash, block bullets, and even unleash a powerful Limit Break while in combat. But that's not all. 

Some of the new effects that will be joining the game include Materia Hop-Ups, which will grant the player different benefits. These include area-of-effect lightning and HP absorption, and you'll find yourself being joined by a SOLDIER Nessie who'll fight at your side.

Earlier, I mentioned how Apex Legends would have FFVII REBIRTH cosmetic items, but let's give you a better idea of what to expect. Wattson will be able to get a moogle inspired skin, and many more. Overall, there will be 36 limited-time cosmetics, and you can acquire them in different ways. You can get them from Event Packs or get them from the knockout pool, with the chance to get the Mythic Buster Sword R5 cosmetic that can be equipped by anyone. 

If you want to get these limited-time items and cosmetics, then don't worry. You'll be able to enjoy the crossover from 9th January until the event comes to an end on the 30th.
