Another Free Stardew Valley Content Update in the Works
ConcernedApe, the creator and lead developer of Stardew Valley, has confirmed another free content update for the hit farming game/life-sim via Twitter. The tweet, published on 26th February, refers to the update as version "1.5" and proudly states that it's already "in the works".
In the replies to the tweet, ConcernedApe responds to questions regarding paid DLC, assuring players that there are "no plans for paid DLC or anything".
It's been four years since ConcernedApe (Eric Barone) first released Stardew Valley. In that time, he has continually worked to update the game and bring it to new platforms. Right now, it's available on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, Android, iOS and even PlayStation Vita. His tireless work deserves acknowledgement and praise; it's a relief to see Stardew Valley reach such high levels of success.
