Announcement Trailer for New Single-player RPG New Arc Line

The announcement trailer from developer Dreamate Games and publisher Fulqrum Publishing’s showcases their new title, New Arc Line, showing off the multi-layered worlds inside "The Shining City of Progress".

The golden age of technology has risen around The New World’s source of magic, where great inventions have brought on a bright future for everyone. But not all that glitters is gold. Tempers have begun to grow between factions fighting over their born and man-made abilities, exploitation of the working class, and your character’s hopes to cure a family disease, only to be found in the midst of strangers and monsters.  

Will you take the plunge into the world of the arcane and mechanical? Which side will prosper? Will you be a part of it?

Craft your character by race (human, elf, dwarf, or giant), gender, background, and looks. Just keep in mind that the game has themes of prejudice that affect your character and respected party, as well as the choices you make determine how people react to you.

Your team, and the company that you keep, can be recruited to aid the player on their quest. With a diverse selection of possible friends and foes, you will learn their past, help them grow as individuals which will benefit your party, and face all manner of things that threaten the already unbalanced world. You can also romance members of the party!

Take control of the battle in turn-based strategy combat. Rush in by the seat of the pants or keep a levelled head and perform elaborate strategies to manoeuvre around any obstacle. Featuring a multitude of spells, skills, consumables, and crafting items, players will have an angle over any conflict that shows up. However, some conflicts can be prevented by stealing, persuasion, making friends in the right places, and influencing the course of New Arc Line’s narrative.

Micro-manage your character to meld them into six classes, as well as 12 sub-classes. Wielding the powers of magic or machine, characters (including party members) will be able to conjure Hellfire, Voodoo, and Celestial powers, or construct mechanical Steampunk, Dieselpunk, or Telsapunk contraptions.

Change the world by finding the cure and becoming well-known in The New World with each person and consequence you have a hand in. As the player arrives at the city on a steamship, you will immediately see a place that needs a hero, or a villain.

New Arc Line will be coming out next year on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
