Anime Fighter Jump Force is Releasing on Switch Later This Year
2019’s anime crossover fighting game Jump Force is launching on Nintendo Switch this year, in a Deluxe Edition that also includes all additional DLC characters.
The Switch version of the game also gives players the option to fight in upto three-on-three battles, either in online or offline matches. It seems however that anything above one-on-one matches will require the use of single Joy-Con’s.
As the name suggests, Jump Force features fighters from Weekly Shōnen Jump’s most popular manga franchises, such as Dragon Ball, Naruto and One Piece, as well as classic characters such as Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, and City Hunter’s Ryo Saeba.
The game features a single player campaign, where players create their own avatars and team up with iconic anime and manga characters to face-off against an array of villains, alongside a multiplayer component. The title was met with a mixed reception from both fans and critics alike, with many criticising its lacklustre art style, repetitive single player and shallow gameplay.
Jump Force Deluxe Edition will release on Nintendo Switch later in 2020.
