Although we still don't know what the gameplay will actually be like - an RPG, a racer, physics-based catapults - or something shooty like what we're shown, the game does show some of the character models. And that the Telepods will function exactly like they do in past Angry Birds titles - "teleporting" the character into the game.

It is strange that they chose to have Optimus Red working alongside Megahog, when the two characters they are based on would never work together voluntarily. And no, we didn't come up with those names - Hasbro have trademarked Optimus Red, Megahog, Bumblebird and Starsqueal.

No word on the other revealed characters - based on Grimlock and now apparently Astrotrain - but as soon as we know anything more, we will report it.
