Amazon Rumoured to Offer Buy Out to Electronic Arts

Rumours have been floating about for a few weeks now that award-winning publisher Electronic Arts was facing a potential buyout, and leaks from USA Today and GLHF seemed to be pointing towards the potential buyer: none other than business conglomerate Amazon.

Following the digital whirlwind created by Microsoft’s acquisition of Activistion/Blizzard, news of this supposed buyout has spread like wildfire. CNBC Now has since come forward, disclaiming the story following EA’s shares surging in response to the rumour, but we won’t know anything for sure until EA or Amazon come forward themselves.
