AlterVerse: Disruption - The First Entry in a Multi-Game Shared Sci-Fi Universe

AlterVerse Inc. is taking on an ambitious project with its debut title AlterVerse: Disruption, available now on Steam Early Access. While it's not groundbreaking in and of itself—simply consisting of various eSports-focused shooter game modes—it comes as the first in the AlterVerse ecosystem, an interconnected series of games which let players interact, create and share across one consistent virtual universe. Oh, and it's VR-compatible too: great news for any fancy VR headset owners!

The developer is already looking to expand on this relatively simple core game. It hopes to very soon be able to let players "create their very own multiplayer games with no coding or art skills required". As more AlterVerse games release, this scope will expand further until it resembles a true living, breathing sci-fi universe. At least, that's the intention.
