All of the 180 Countries Blocked that Sony Blocked for Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT and HELLDIVERS 2 on Steam
On the 10th of May 2024, Sony created a new wave of restrictions on the Steam store page for Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT and HELLDIVERS 2. Both of these restrictions are centred on the PlayStation Network controversy they had a while back, and it seems they aren't backing down from most of their stands.
After Sony tried to make PlayStation Network a mandatory requirement to play HELLDIVERS 2 three months after the game's release, they received massive backlash, resulting in hundreds of thousands of negative reviews. Very soon thereafter, they took it back through a post in X, where they stated that the requirements would not be set live on those dates (though whether they'd come back or not was still up in the air). Though it seemed like an all-around victory, the Steam restrictions set upon the divers who spent dozens of hours in the game were never lifted, and those who played through family sharing lost access to it, while many others could never purchase it.
Many were speculating a possible PlayStation Network return, seeing as the information box on the Steam store page hadn't been removed. It states the following, which alludes to the fact that it'll be back since it hasn't been removed yet.
Requires 3rd-Party Account: PlayStation Network (Supports Linking to Steam Account)
With this being around, it could still very well see the return of PlayStation Network at a later time. Meanwhile, Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT received a massive restriction list on the 10th of May 2024, seeing the same 180 countries that can't create a PlayStation Network account, and they are as follows:

These codes correspond to Andorra, Metropolitan France, and Dubai, respectively, though we're not sure why they're part of the list or if they will be restricted in the future.
This list is accurate as of the latest restriction wave on the 10th of May 2024 and may be updated at a later date if more are added.
