Alekhine's Gun Release Dated

The cold war was a fairly ominous time. With the threat of nuclear war ever present, even though no shots were fired, those who lived through it will tell you it was a tumultuous time indeed. So it's unusual that there haven't been a huge number of games based around the subject. Perhaps it's a little too recent for comfort, although that didn't stop Six Days in Fallujah. 

Alekhine's Gun sees players take control of the titular agent Alekhin, a former KGB assassin, turned CIA operative. Eleven open levels in the US, Europe and Cuba await the double crossing agent, who by the time of the game is tasked with eliminating conspirators. The game will be out on the 11th March on PS4 and Xbox One, with a physical PC release shortly after.

“Developing this game had its challenges,” said Christina Seelye, CEO of Maximum Games. “It was important to us to give fans of the 'Death to Spies' franchise the same classic stealth gameplay they love, while modernising the game to appeal to fans of the broader stealth genre.” She adds, “In the end, we are extremely pleased with the outcome and are beyond thrilled to finally get the game in players’ hands!”
