Alan Wake Writes His Way into The Fog in New Dead by Daylight Crossover Trailer

It looks like the Champion of Light has more darkness to come. The popular multiplayer action-horror game Dead by Daylight has officially announced a crossover with the Alan Wake franchise, bringing the titular troubled writer into The Fog. Additionally, this new, dark chapter will arrive with a limited-time Lights Out Modifier, stripping players of several tools as they try to survive. Can you make it without your trusty flashlight?

This announcement comes just one day after the Behaviour Interactive team posted a very AW-esque teaser to their X (formerly known as Twitter), which sparked speculation across both fanbases. 

In the latest trailer, Alan is positioned at his typewriter, writing himself out of and into unfamiliar places and treacherous darkness — as usual. What’s real? What’s not? Who knows anymore? This time he’s found himself in the thralls of The Entity, facing more dangers in The Fog.

Alan joins Dead by Daylight as its newest Survivor on the 30th of January 2024, across all platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. In the meantime, you can also take up your flashlight in the time-limited PTB servers, available now.
