Hitman 3 sees players reprise their role as Agent 47, the master assassin capable of turning any—yes, any—object into a lethal weapon and any situation into a death trap. Using a mixture of disguises, subterfuge, sabotage, brute force and more, Agent 47 will see his target eliminated; if he wants someone dead, they'll die.
While Hitman 3 will release for previous-gen consoles, it offers an array of graphical and performance features for those playing in current-gen systems: 4K, HDR support, 60FPS and faster loading times. On all platforms, IO Interactive's improved "Glacier" engine can support up to 300 AI characters in one location, all with improved AI and interaction mechanics.
Finally, continuing in the tradition set by HITMAN 2, all previous games in the series' modern history—spanning HITMAN (2016), HITMAN 2 and Hitman 3—will be available to play in HITMAN 3. What's more, the game's announced PlayStation VR support will also be compatible with previous levels in the series (as long as they're played within HITMAN 3's engine.
HITMAN 3 releases on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC on 20th January 2021 (also available on Switch via cloud streaming).
