Act of Aggression shows off the US Army Faction in new trailer

Eugen Systems and Focus Home Interactive, creators of the Wargame series, have released the first of three trailers for their upcoming real-time strategy game, Act of Aggression.

This episode features one of the three factions in game, the United States Army, and a sneak peek into their units, such as the Abrams tank, Apache helicopter gunship and Humvee. The United States Army is centred around all these tough veteran units that are upgradable. 

Defenses such as the Phalanx close-in weapons system and the Patriot anti-air missile battery are also featured, with their reliance on a power grid system being highlighted.

While not prominently mentioned (in the midst of all the heavy duty hardware), they also enjoy a large selection of well-balanced and cheap infantry units with a distinct role, such as riflemen, mortar teams, anti-air and anti-tank troopers.

As a faction trait, these units are all highly specialized and while they lack versatility, these are among the best-suited when utilized in their intended roles.

The series will be featuring the Chimera faction next, a UNO funded peacekeeping force, with the stealthy Cartel born out of private military contractors rounding off the faction roster in Acts of Aggression.
