Accolade Resurrected as Bubsy the Bobcat Makes a Comeback

The Accolade name has seen a few owners over the years, with the veteran company changing hands a number of times since 1999 saw their last releases. The first game from the veteran publisher is coming later this year with a return to their most famous 2D platform series Bubsy the Bobcat. Yes, you did hear us right, and no, it's not a joke this time.

Fortunately, the game, dubbed Bubsy The Woolies Strike Back is a return to the 2D roots of the series, and not a repeat of the poorly-received 3D version that ended the series back in the nineties. The new title is being developed by Black Forest Games, famous for resurrecting the Giana Sisters series to great critical acclaim. We will see more as the year continues, but expect a release this Autumn on PS4 and PC.
