Access-Ability Summer Showcase 2024: Upheaval

Upheaval is an upcoming text-based roguelike adventure developed and published by Alex Leone! In it, players will play as a world-hopping magician, allowing them the ability to explore everything from the wilds to even the protagonist's remote village! However, gamers will have to play it repeatedly to really unravel everything through short rounds that last anywhere from 30-90 minutes!

Just as much as we're able to choose where we go, the game also won't force you to do anything, either; if players want to stay around the tavern or go fishing the whole time, that's a possibility, too!

As we saw this in the Access-Ability Summer Showcase, we'd love to talk quickly about what sort of options are available! In this case, there are audio descriptions for the vision impaired, complete text-to-speech, configurable controls, and even difficulty sliders, among others!
