Abandon Ship Exploration Trailer

Fireblade Software has released a trailer with a spotlight on the exploration elements of their upcoming title Abandon Ship; a beautiful seafaring fantasy adventure that puts the player at the helm of their own ship.

The trailer shows off the many beautiful weather systems and a rich variety of biomes that drastically change the pace of battles, like a sea battle near an erupting volcano that showers both enemy and player ships with fire and ash. Actions and choices the player makes will drastically change the map, altering the environment and making friends and foes.

Should the player's ship sink it does not mean the end of the game, as long as the Captain survives there is a chance of rescue, be it on a life raft or on the floating debris of the destroyed ship.

Abandon Ship will be available on Steam and plans to launch on online vendors such as GOG sometime this year.
