A New Halo Title Is Coming To Xbox One This Year
When Xbox Wire listed a string of upcoming titles for Xbox One Halo was noticeably absent. In a post on 6th January they thanked fans for their support this year and talked about upcoming titles. They went on to list some big name games due out this year:
2014 will be a promising year with many more great games on the way for Xbox One including Titanfall, Watch_Dogs, Project Spark, Sunset Overdrive, Tom Clancy’s The Division, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Destiny, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, and The Elder Scrolls Online, among others.
More games, more features, more content, more fun – all coming your way this year.
It seems fans had a moment of panic when they noticed the absence of a Halo title on the list. However Rob Semsey, PR Manager for the Halo franchise, was quick to take to twitter and reassure fans that the omission was down to the title of the game still being decided.
Xbox Wire today mentioned a few 2014 titles; Halo on Xbox One not listed due to official name of the next title not announced yet.

The latest in the popular franchise, Halo: Spartan Assault was launched for Xbox One in December and takes place between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4. The game features online cooperative multiplayer mode as well as new enemies, weapons and achievements.
The new, nameless, Halo game was first announced during E3 2013; it's been said to pick up where Halo 4 left off.
