'80s Update to The Quarry

After its release only a month ago, The Quarry has received a brand new (and major) patch bringing with it a bunch of new features for the game.

The most exciting of these is probably the new multiplayer mode called Wolf Pack. Wolf Pack allows hosts to invite up to seven people to join them as they play through the game, allowing these spectators to vote on how decisions should be made. Handing over decisions to a bunch of other folks adds another level of chaos to the frightful narrative and is a pretty unique concept in the genre.

The Bizarre Yet Bonafide podcast and all of its six episodes are now also available in the game. This podcast has previously only be accessible on specific streaming platforms so if you've not been able to check it out, now it's a lot easier to listen to. 

Finally, if you've been on a huge '80s kick like a bunch of us here at GameGrin (thanks Stranger Things), then you'll be excited about the new outfits that have been released. As part of the Deluxe Edition, or as a separate DLC pack, players can now dress their favourite camp counselors in some "'80's-inspired cosmetic" gear, because why not?

The Quarry is out right now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
