25th Anniversary of Skifree
Back in 1991, when Chris Pirih was working for Microsoft and started learning Windows programming, he created Skifree. Little did he know the phenomenon that this game would become. In the nineties, if you had a computer running Windows, there was a high chance that you had the Microsoft Entertainment Pack and therefore this addictive little game.
The game lives on to this day with versions released for Android and iOS, hundreds of Flash clones throughout the internet, and even a modern Windows version released by the author himself on his own website. We can't be sure if Andrew McMurry knew the importance of 2016 to release the video above, but it seems like a perfect tribute to the game which frustrated all of us slacking off from working back in the early nineties.

I put that on Twitter, but to be fair I only learnt it recently thanks to XKCD.
