1999's Worms Armageddon Updated for the Franchise's 25th Anniversary

In celebration of the Worms franchise's 25th anniversary on the 17th November, Team17 is releasing an official update for 1999's Worms 2: Armageddon featuring "dozens of new features and updates". Check out the update's trailer above and get ready to dive back into a turn-based classic from the turn of the century.

While the 3.8 update, which brings a host of new features and fixes, is officially endorsed by Team17, it's the product of over seven years of work from dedicated Worms fans. Kevin Carthew, member of the 1999 Worms Armageddon team and current Creative Director at Team17, is overjoyed with the fans' dedication to the game, calling the update "a sure sign of its (Worms) quality and the love that fans have for it".

The 3.8 update is out now for Worms Armageddon on PC.
