14 Minutes Of Horizon Forbidden West Gameplay Revealed

During a recent PlayStation State of Play presentation, developer Guerrilla Games debuted 14 minutes of Horizon Forbidden West gameplay running on PlayStation 5. 

This footage shows players what they can expect from the upcoming adventure title both in terms of visuals and gameplay. The video starts with Aloy exploring a visually impressive world before dealing with machines and human enemies alike in order to save a friend. There is action, exploration, and even stealth in this gameplay footage, which you can see in full above. 

New gameplay options were showcased as well including new attacks, new movement options such as a grapple hook, and even an ultimate like spear attack for dealing with powerful enemies. Players will need to make use of all of Aloy's new skills in order to survive in the ruin of San Francisco, along with overcoming the threat of new machines and humans alike. 

While new release date was revealed at this time, Guerrilla Games confirmed that development is still on track and more details will be revealed soon. 

Horizon Forbidden West is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
