Razer Leviathan Preview

Razer have been branching out into more exciting developments recently, other than their control devices they are renowned for. It would be amiss not to say that a great deal of YouTubers can be seen donning their headsets in one flavour or another. Leviathan is Razer’s breakout into the non-headset related audio arena and onto your desktop.

Designed to be placed underneath your monitor(s), the Leviathan certainly packs a punch. Inside the package is the soundbar, a subwoofer, and a couple of sets of special feet for the bar so that you can angle the speakers toward your head, depending on its placement on the desk. We saw it wall-mounted at Gadget Show Live 2015, so that’s also an option - and it looks very smart when it is.

Part of the beauty of the Leviathan over cheaper speaker sets and bars, is the inclusion of tweeters at either end of the device, which really helps to deliver the additional clarity of the higher end sounds where cheaper devices may sound muddy. It can be used with or without the included subwoofer too - for those moments when you need to be a little quieter than normal.
