Description
Starting life on the Amstrad CPC range of computers, Dizzy helped make the Oliver Twins and Codemasters household names in the eighties and nineties. Although he wasn't specifically given a race in the first game, he was universally accepted as being an egg. He appeared in ten main games and seven spin-off games between 1987 and 1994. A re-release of Prince of the Yolkfolk in 2012 for mobiles was hoped to pave way for a new game but Kickstarter funding was unsuccesful. In 2015, a previously unreleased game, Wonderland Dizzy, was released for free, 23 years after being finished.
