What to Do With the Buddha's Eyes in Black Myth: Wukong
If you’ve ventured into the arid lands of Yellow Wind Ridge in Black Myth: Wukong, odds are that you’ve run across a few gigantic Buddha heads chanting in a veritably rumbling base. Though they are cool in their own right, they are also needed to release the Man-in-Stone from his apparent imprisonment. However, as you interact with them, they also give you a Key Item called a Buddha’s Eye… without any clear use.
Well, as luck would have it, these golden orbs actually have a very special purpose: you can use them to unlock a secret boss within the chapter! If you go back to where you fought the Stone Vanguard — or in the happy case you haven’t actually fought them yet, go to the Rockrest Flat Shrine and head into the boss chamber — you may notice there’s this weird lump of rock with carved faces just hanging out in the arena. Interact with said rock, plop the eyes into place and hey presto, you have a boss!
Shigandang can be a tough opponent, so keep your guard up. If you haven’t yet taken on the Stone Vanguard, however, you can sic your newfound bouldery friend to rip the monster to pieces… just don’t expect them to sit and roll over once the battle is done.
