Videogame Music That Gives Me Goosebumps #2

In our wonderful world of videogames, there will be times that a certain voice line or piece of music triggers that sensation of making every single hair on your body stand on end. With this in mind, here’s one piece that will guarantee such a sensation.

In today’s episode, it is only fitting that I choose this piece due to the release of Gran Turismo 7. Now I’m specifically targeting Gran Turismo 4 and its Japanese release here, mainly because the soundtracks got butchered for European releases.

Having obtained an import copy of the game, I slapped it in my ever so slightly modified PlayStation 2, cranked the volume up on my TV, and sat in sheer bewilderment. Stunned by the operatic opener before kicking into the classic rock track, “Moon over the Castle” is a staple of any Gran Turismo title.
