Despite multiple delays and various hindrances game developers and publishers experienced due to the quarantine this year, one still couldn’t argue that 2020 wasn’t generous for gamers. Marvel’s Avengers
Most of the time, good videogames based on comic books or movies are a rare treat due to various licensing issues or tight deadlines that the developers have to meet. Nevertheless, we had exceptions such as the highly regarded Batman: Arkham series or the Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PS4. One of the most interesting aspects of Watch Dogs: Legion is that the title doesn’t offer any lead role or a protagonist. Instead, the player embodies an entire hacktivist movement composed of different characters with unique backstories, attributes, and perks. Each of these digital-age freedom fighters can be lost or recruited therefore the composition of the movement is in constant flux. The lack of a permanent main character and introduction of a high variety of possible recruits might seem strange at first but in the end, it serves as perfect motivation to get to know this living, breathing open-world through the eyes of different people who inhabit it.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla
Watch Dogs: Legion is not the only ambitious game Ubisoft has in store this year as we are also bound to see the release of the latest game in the Assassin's Creed series. The franchise has already explored some of the most memorable historical periods and themes in the past, and now the time has come for Vikings! On November 17th, players will be able to launch their Assassins Creed: Valhalla Uplay key and immerse in another chapter in the epic century-spanning story, surrounding the cross-cultural conflict between Assassin and Templar orders.
Players will assume the role of a Viking leader named Eivor who can be either male or female, depending on choice. Story will circle around Eivor’s efforts to establish a state of peace between Saxons and Danes but since this is a third-person action game surrounding Vikings, naturally this noble goal can’t be achieved without participating in some epic segments of medieval combat. The game will feature D-Day style Viking sea raids, the return of the iconic hidden blade, exploration of 8th century England, a variety of special moves, and allow players to develop their character through RPG-style skill trees.

Cyberpunk 2077
All of the previously listed games are impressive in their own right but at this point, it’s no secret that the most likely candidate for the Game of the Year 2020 title is Cyberpunk 2077 - the upcoming open-world action RPG that the Polish developer and publisher CD Projekt Red will introduce on November 19th. Considering that these are the creators of the widely acclaimed Witcher series, it shouldn’t come as a surprise if Cyberpunk 2077 GOG key will not only deliver the game of the year but possibly a game of the decade - considering its overwhelming scale and ambitions.
The game will take players to a location surrounding the fictional Night City, found on the West coast of the US, between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It’s a cyberpunk dystopia defined by social inequality, corporate rule, gang wars, and excessive human body modification through cyberware. The story will follow a custom protagonist named V - a mercenary who’s after an immortality granting microchip. Despite its serious tone, Cyberpunk 2077 will be a wildly charming thrill ride with an abundance of customization options and hundreds of hours of content backed by incredible replay value as well as visionary world-building.
