What would you do if you could control everybody around you? Would you make the two people in front of you fall in love? Maybe have an indepth discussion about political rivalries? The new trailer for The Sims 4 shows just a few things you can do within the game, only transposed to real-life. Imagine being able to move a wall back to create more space to party, or remove a ceiling altogether so you can stare up at the stars from your bed. It’s a world that you control, and which you rule over.

The Sims 4 lets you take control of every aspect of your Sims life, be it the place they’re living, who they’re dating, what their job is or even what they like to do on the weekends. Why be restricted to your 9-to-5 when you can become an undercover spy for the government?! The only limit is your imagination.

Personally, I always aspired to be able to work from home, so that’s exactly what I made my Sim do. He became a world-class tech-support agent who dabbled with hacking on the side. I felt that sleeping was a waste of time so picked up a Perk that allowed me to never sleep. Imagine never having to sleep! You’d get so much more done with you day.
