So I Tried… I Love Pasta

Each edition of So I Tried… I will try a game that I have never tried before. Will I find something new to love? Will I find something new to despise? I'll take a full half hour, no matter how bad it gets or how badly I do, to see if this is the game for me. This time I went for the mobile version of I Love Pasta.

What I thought it was…

I don’t play many mobile games, but I did used to play the odd Facebook game where you would create your own restaurant or café, so I reckon it will be just like them kinda games. My husband used to spend hours getting his Zynga Café World just right, but despite him sending me many requests to either help him or join the game, it wasn't really my cuppa tea.

What it actually is...

At the start of the game where you have to choose a male or female character and the way their hair and clothes look. It is what I thought it was: you go and make the food, then serve it up and also make sure you have plenty of tables and chairs - or you will make the customers cross and they will walk away. It has annoying music which made me want to put my phone on silence. The graphics weren’t too bad - it was really like watching an anime due to the style.

Will I keep playing…

I don’t think I will give this another try as it really wasn’t interesting. It made the time feel longer than it was, and to be honest I was glad that the timer went as I don't think I could come off the game quick enough. I’ve had fun with waitress games like Diner Dash in the past, but this really didn’t appeal to me because you were just cooking. And not in the fun Cooking Mama way where you get to do some things with the food, you spend more time waiting around so you can collect money, than anything else.
