Reasons Why I Am Super Excited to Play Little Kitty, Big City
It’s not a secret that I am a huge fan of cats: I have two furballs at home named Mario and Yoshi. So whenever I see an announcement for a game starring a cat, my interest is piqued. In 2022 we had Stray, the super realistic kitty who lived in a dystopian cyberpunk-type world and was just trying to get back to his cat family. I was a huge fan of it, so I was excited to see the first trailer for Little Kitty, Big City starring another feline. Here is a list of all the reasons why I think this is a game that should be on your radar.
-
If you watch the game trailer, you know that this game is going to have a great sense of humour when the narrator is begging the cat to find a way to get home urgently.
-
The visuals are a lot more cartoony than a game like Stray, but the characters are bright and colourful and full of personality. The cat you are in control of is freaking adorable with its black fur and bright green eyes!
-
You get to do typical cat actions like catching birds, stealing food, jumping into boxes, or chasing your tail. If you get caught stealing food, the humans will chase after you, so you have to run.
-
The kitty can communicate with other animals that it finds in the city, like crows or a corgi who is known as “The Squishiest Smooshiest Potato Friend”.
-
You can dress up the cat in a huge variety of super cute hats like a witch, a frog, lobster, hedgehog, koala, and a ladybug, just to name a few.
-
The city looks huge with a lot of different areas to explore, complete tasks like leading baby birds back to their parents and performing silly cat antics like playing in boxes, chasing butterflies, and being a kitty kleptomaniac stealing anything edible.
I can’t wait to check out this wholesome adventure game. It will be nice to play something so lighthearted and full of humour. Plus, you can’t go wrong when the main character is so mischievous and cute! If you have Xbox Game Pass, the same is set to release on the service when the game comes out in early 2024, so you have no excuse not to check it out. Man, I really hope there is a meow button; guaranteed I will spam that!
