Kirby the Forgotten Land 5 Best Ability Upgrades

In Kirby and The Forgotten Land one of the new additions is the capacity to upgrade any of Kirby’s copy abilities. There are blueprints for each ability hidden throughout the game; once you find one bring it back to Waddle Dee’s Weapon Shop and, as long as you have Stars you collect on Treasure Road and coins available, you can exchange them for a new version of the base ability. Some are definitely better than others, so here’s a list of the five that I found were worth your investment for the first upgrade.

• Noble Ranger: What’s better than one musket? Two of course! With this upgraded ability you have double the firepower and good range so you don’t have to get up close to the enemies trying to attack you.

• Gigant Sword: Kirby trades in his Link-style hat for something more Viking-like and is armed with a huge sword that rivals the Buster Sword that Cloud carries in Final Fantasy VII. This sword can be charged, releasing a huge attack that deals massive damage. 

• Toy Hammer: This weapon may look like a harmless toy, but it packs a punch! It can be charged up for a flaming hit, or can continuously bash the enemy to cause a lot of damage.

• Volcano Fire: This is the upgraded version of a regular Fire attack, but instead of shooting flames you are launching large balls of lava at your enemies. This power lets you avoid getting in close to the enemy, as you can just launch the lava from a distance and watch things burn.

• Clutter Needle: Kirby dons a hat full of super sharp objects then rolls into a huge, pointy ball that you roll over his enemies with. It looks pointy and does a lot of damage! 

Once you unlock one of these powered-up abilities, whenever you find it in the levels you will have the new ability that you upgraded. Were there any other upgraded abilities you found to be quite useful? If so leave a comment below!
