Infernax Tips and Tricks
Find yourself stuck in Infernax? Here are three tips that might help you on your journey.
Talk to everyone in the towns
People will have tasks for you to complete and once you finish them, make sure you go and talk to that person again as most of the time you will be rewarded or you will gain access to another area you haven’t been to before.
Level up your character by fighting at night
The monsters are worth more XP when it's dark, so levelling up is faster. If you find a stronger enemy, defeat it then walk off the screen and come back and it will be there again.
Head back to any of the dungeons and castles you have completed to gain XP and level up your character, and check to see if you have learned the spell or ability that is hidden there. A few times I would rush through the dungeon excited that I had defeated the boss, but not realising that I had completely missed picking up the spell.
Remember there's a cheat engine
If you are at the point where you are frustrated and you just want to give up, go into your menu and head to the accessibility options. Buried in here you will find the option to turn on the Game Wizard. The Game Wizard acts just like a Game Genie did for systems like the NES and SNES. You will have the ability to enter a code when you go to save points that will give you special powers. One code gives you the ability to perform infinite jumps and the second makes you invincible. If needed, you also have the option to activate both codes if you need all the help you can get. At any time you can turn the code off, if you are like me and feel guilty for cheating when you don't need it.
These are a few of the tips that I followed when I was stuck in Infernax with no idea where to go next. If you really need to use the Game Wizard when you are playing don't feel too bad. It's better to use it than give up on the game and walk away!
I hope you find these tips useful when you check out Infernax! If you have any other useful tips, let me know in the comments!
