Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Feed Critters & Their Favourite Food

InDisney Dreamlight Valley, you can feed and tame the Critters around every area from the moment you unlock the place. The problem is, most of them are very skittish and need to be approached in a certain way! In this guide, we'll explain how to approach each Critter and what their favourite food is.

1 — Squirrels

Where to find them: Squirrels are found in the Plaza, the first area of the game.
How to approach them: The Squirrels don't run away from you and are very easy to approach; all you have to do is walk up to one and hit the interact button!
Favourite food: You can get Peanuts — their favourite food — from Remy's realm! But, additionally, you can also feed them Fruit!

2 — Rabbits

Where to find them: You can find Rabbits in the Peaceful Meadow, which is just down the stairs from the Plaza!
How to approach them: Much like the rabbit in Mario, they like to have some fun, so you'll have to chase them three times before they let you approach them.
Favourite food: Carrots, which are very easily farmed from the beginning, but you can also buy some from Goofy if needed! Additionally, you can also feed them other Vegetables.

3 — Sea Turtles

Where to find them: The Sea Turtles are found in Dazzling Beach.
How to approach them: The Turtles will hide inside their shell if you approach them, so you have to stand there and give them a second to pop out again. Once they poke their head out, you should be able to interact with them!
Favourite food: Seaweed is very easily obtained by fishing outside of the fishing spot areas. They also like Shellfish!

4 — Crocodiles

Where to find them: You can find Crocodiles in the Glade of Trust!
How to approach them: These little Crocodiles are particularly skittish, so you'll have to get closer slowly and patiently. When their head perks up in attention, stop moving completely! Once they relax and lower their gaze, step closer a bit and stop, as their attention will spike again soon.
Favourite food: Their favourite is Lobster (they have sophisticated palates, it seems!). You can fish it up in the golden fishing spots in the Glade of Trust! Additionally, they also like Shellfish!

5 — Raccoons

Where to find them: These adorable little fellas can be found in the Forest of Valor.
How to approach them: Just like with the Crocodiles, you'll have to approach them carefully and patiently. When they perk up in attention, stop completely!
Favourite food: Their favourite food is Blueberries, which you'll find in abundance in their area! Additionally, they also like other Fruit!

6 — Foxes

Where to find them: You'll find Foxes in the Frosted Heights area!
How to approach them: They are just as playful as Rabbits, so you'll have to run after them until they let you approach!
Favourite food: Their favourite food is the White Sturgeon Fish! To catch one, you'll have to fish on the golden fishing spots in Frosted Heights. Additionally, they also like other Fish!

7 — Sunbirds

Where to find them: You can find these gorgeous birds in the Sunlit Plateau!
How to approach them: Just like the Squirrels, these little Critters aren't scared of human interaction. So all you have to do is walk up to them!
Favourite food: The Sunbirds are different from the other Critters, as each variant has its own favourite food. Aside from just liking flowers in general, their favourites go like this:

• Emerald Sunbird: Green Passion Lily
• Red Sunbird: Red Bromeliad
• Golden Sunbird: Sunflower
• Orchid Sunbird: Orange Houseleek
• Turquoise Sunbird: Pink Houseleek
