Dead by Daylight Kicks Off its Halloween Celebrations with Haunted by Daylight

The popular horror survival game Dead by Daylight has some fun events coming for the Halloween season. Starting the 11th of October, the Haunted by Daylight celebrations kick off with new releases on its store collections page. The Midnight Grove Collection will make its return to the store with two new additions, rare outfits for Mikaela Reid and The Doctor. New additions will also arrive for the Hallowed Blight Collection, which will offer two rare outfits for The Oni and Albert Wesker (The Mastermind). There will also be a limited-time Tricks and Treats Collection. You can expect rare outfits for Jane Romero and Dwight Fairfield – Hollywood Glamour and Toilet Paper Mummy.

Over the following days, players will see more content become available.

On the 12th of October, Tome 13 “Malevolence” will release, players will be able to progress through the free content and unlock new outfits for The Artist and Yui Kimura. By unlocking the “Rift Pass” you will be able to access the premium version of the tome and gain access to content for Mikaela Reid and The Ghost Face.

The 13th of October (which is sadly a Thursday and not a Friday) brings more new cosmetics as well as a new in-game event, this will require players to gather and steal “Void Energy”. Once collected, deposit the energy in an “Unstable Rift”. Doing so will earn you rewards as either a survivor or a killer. Daily login rewards will also become available starting the 13th.

To honour the spooky season, Dead by Daylight will also be starting some Halloween sales for as much as 60% off. This will begin on the 18th of October through to the 3rd of November. The savings may be different depending on which platform you are playing on. But base game discounts, price slashes to DLC and Expansion packs are all targets of the sale.

Finally on the 27th of October (the Halloween weekend) Dead by Daylight will be offering free access to the game for newcomers to join in the fun. Call on your friends for a heck of a good time. Don’t let Halloween pass you by again this year.
