Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022) Short Thoughts #1 - Ghost

Task Force 141 Operator, Ghost, makes a return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022) and this time around he’s considerably more mysterious than his initial 2009 iteration. Due to being constantly disguised and often having very little to say, he’s a difficult character to nail down.

You can rest assured he's still a badass; his gruff cockney accent and reserved approach make him stand out from the other characters in the game. He is also proficient with firearms and in hand-to-hand combat, and can easily despatch multiple foes with ease, regardless of the circumstances. He also appears to be much older and wiser, able to remain cool, calm, and collected in any situation.

My only gripe with the character is his new mask design, as I personally feel that it is completely ridiculous. Gone are the subtle balaclava and shades and now we have a custom-made skull mask taking their place — it's not cool, it's just a bit silly. I’m sure that if someone in the British military insisted on wearing such gear, they’d be laughed out of the unit.
