15 Potential Battlefront Heroes
Star Wars: Battlefront lets you take the role of, arguably, the six most iconic characters in the Star Wars universe. After several hours of play time though, you can become familiar with every inch of them, wiping out hordes of both Rebels and Imperials. With a season pass promising not just more game modes and maps, but heroes too, here are some we’d like (or perhaps not) to see.
The Obvious
Chewbacca
Han once famously said “let the wookie win” and if Chewie enters a multiplayer map complete with his high-powered bowcaster, wookie strength and famous growl, he’s going to be a tough hero to defeat.
Lando Calrissian
Despite having the same powers as Han, Lando would be an edgier, cape-wearing, pistol shooter who could stab you in the back to save his own skin.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Give me the chance to persuade stormtroopers to attack their teammates and anything else with Obi Wan would be a bonus. “These *are* the imperials you must kill”.
Yoda
The Prequel’s ruined Yoda’s enigma by giving him mad lightsaber, flipping skills. Scrap that and give him three unique force powers and the tiny Jedi master can tear hordes of stormtroopers apart.
Darth Maul
A ninja-like Sith, Maul would be near-on impossible to run from, and even more difficult to hit from long range thanks to his famous double lightsaber.
The Possible
Qui-Gon Jinn
As the guy that discovered Anakin, who later became Darth Vader if you didn't realise, Qui-Gon Jinn has a lot to answer for. Luckily, murdering Stormtroopers is a good start on the way to redemption.
Padme
Essentially a prequel version of Leia. Equipped with garish clothing, fancy hair and her Naboo honour guard, Padme could go hand-in-hand with a host of prequel maps.
Adolescent Anakin
Being a teenager is a tough time for anyone, let alone if you have some seriously, deep-rooted issues and the power of the force coursing through you.
Captain Phasma
Much is still unknown about Captain Phasma’s role in The Force Awakens, but given the chrome armour, I’d say she’s badass enough to warrant a hero role.
Kylo Ren
The Force Awakens characters are sure to appear in Battlefront sooner rather than later, and given the choice, you’d have to say Kylo Ren looks the most interesting of the bunch. The new look lightsaber could be just what he needs to finish Vader’s work.
The Stupid
The Rancor
Huge, rabid and uncontrollable, they say only a Jedi can defeat the Rancor, but in an 7v1 Evolve-style mode, anything would be possible.
Jabba The Hut
A slob that sits on his arse all day dictating his minions, and I’m not talking about our editor-in-chief! While it’s unlikely Jabba would offer much of an offensive threat himself, Jabba would have bounty hunters at his disposal; Bossk, IG-88 or even the real Boushh, all of whom would respond to Jabba’s call to kill.
R2D2
It was safe to assume that R2 was nothing more than a humble and helpful droid after the original trilogy, it turns out that he was hiding a secret though. Like something from a Bond film, the prequels revealed R2 was full of gadgets; jetpacks, electric prods, oils slicks, you name it, R2 had it. Setting traps around a map would offer a completely different hero style.
Jar Jar Binks
An idiotic and pointless waste of space or Evil Sith mastermind and Senate infiltrator? You decide. Whatever side of the debate you fall on, there’s no denying Jar Jar has combat skills to some degree and to be given the chance to murder him would be at the top of many Star Wars fan’s ‘to do list’.
General Grievous
A fleshy droid suffering from numerous injuries and ailments, Grievous is equipped not with one, two or even three lightsabers, but four. Four of the most revered weapons in the galaxy that take years of mastering. Good luck trying to get a shot on him with that amount of deflection power.

What about Finn or Rey, the main characters in Force Awakens? Surely they'll get a look-in.

Finn has no force powers so unless he could perhaps disguise as an Imperial, he'll be similer to other shooting-related heroes. Rey could be a good one though.Personally, I think it'd be actually interesting to have Greivous as a Hero.. xD

So, after seeing the film, I may add to this. Snoke - Hell yes. Phasma - Meh. Those squid things Han is smuggling - Definitley!
